For your Family,
For your Friends,
For you...
Hi, I'm Tina and along with my close friend Tracey we created and co-founded Free2Age.com.
Tina:
Let me tell you about my own personal experience.
A few years ago I had the worst year of my life. My father nearly died and I lost my husband of 20 years.
When my father had a stroke and was no longer able to care for himself, I anxiously needed to find a variety of
services to meet his needs: doctors, transportation, physical therapy, and caregivers. I was living over 20 miles
away. When you have to be the sole provider for the family it became extremely hard to be devoting the time to be
in two places at once. I needed lots of help. The information was out there, but was extremely difficult and time
consuming to find and you know how frustrating that can be? I was taking care of my dad when my husband had a
massive heart attack and passed away. I was devastated by the loss, still needed to take care of my dad, and had
a 16 year old son to raise. My Dad luckily is still with us but needs constant care. When I finally recovered
from this ordeal, I pledged that no one would have to go through what I went through without help.
Thus, Free2Age.com was formed. It's for anyone in time of need. Taking care of parents, taking care of a loved one, taking care of a child, handicapped, sick, ill or otherwise. This site is dedicated to everyone. Just enter your zip code and you'll find the most important resources in your hometown, from A to Z. It's that simple. We're here so you can enjoy your life and be Free to Age!
Tracey:
I'm Tracey and I
was lucky. My father was the comedian Phil Silvers. When he reached the later part of his life he needed some in-home
care. Fortunately, we were financially able to provide it for him. Years ago I met Tina and I've lived through her
experience these past few years. I want to help her realize her dream to make people's lives easier during the very
difficult times they are going through. They already have enough on their plate. Why not go to a site where all your
answers can be housed in one place? As people's needs change, so will this website. Together we want Free2Age.com to
be a 'living breathing' place where people can turn to for non-profits, for help and for answers. As soon as I spoke
with other friends who are also facing the very same questions Tina and millions of others face every day, I
immediately knew that this type of site was imperative. I urge you to use the site, tell us what we have to add and
spread the word to others who need our help right now!
